IMPORTANT: Because of a failed air conditioning system at our ARCH venue, all the classes have been moved to Bodek Lounge at Houston Hall! This is the same venue as our Saturday evening dance and Sunday Events.

This year’s HOT MESS is bound to be the hottest yet.
  • We’ve got two days of intermediate- and masters-level classes from NINA GILKENSON, MICHAEL SEGUIN and MIKE FALTESEK.
  • We’ve got three nights of social dancing featuring the HOT MESS BATTLE OF THE HOT JAZZ BANDS, wherein Drew Nugent and his Midnight Society (Philly) will go head-to-head with Baby Soda Jazz Band (NYC).
  • We’ve got the hottest, wackiest HOT MESS COMP yet, wherein teams of 3-6 solo jazz dancers will compete in COLLABORATIVE SOLO JAZZ to win the favor of the judges, who will later join them in a SOLO JAZZ DUEL.
  • If that weren’t enough hotness, ADAM BOEHMER will join us from Seattle as MC, guest instructor, and chief mayhem-maker.
